German Berliner Sparkasse to issue 30 million euro for development of agriculture in Uzbekistan

The People’s Bank of Uzbekistan and the Berliner Sparkasse – Branch of Landesbank Berlin AG (Germany) signed an agreement worth 30 million euros.

The German bank will provide loan funds to the Uzbek side. The funds will be used for the development of agriculture in Uzbekistan.

In particular, loan funds can be used to import equipment for the production of export-oriented products or the acquisition of pedigree cattle.
