StrategEast successfully conducted the next delegation visit under the U.S.-Ukraine Tech Partnership Initiative on June 2–4, bringing together top Ukrainian tech companies and U.S. stakeholders for two days of high-level meetings and strategic dialogue in Washington, D.C.

Launched in collaboration with Diia.City.Union and the Kharkiv IT Cluster, the initiative is designed to deepen business, investment, and innovation ties between the Ukrainian tech sector and the U.S. market. With Ukraine’s tech industry playing a vital role in the country’s economic resilience and post-war recovery, the visit sought to facilitate new win-win partnerships.

The agenda included strategic sessions with major U.S. institutions. The roundtable with the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and the Center on Cyber and Technology Innovation, led by Mark Montgomery and Michael Abonyi, explored cybersecurity cooperation and the alignment of tech-sector capabilities with both U.S. and Ukraine national security priorities.

An in-person meeting with Michèle Flournoy, Co-Founder of WestExec Advisors, and her team of strategic advisors focused on defense and dual-use tech innovations, as well as opportunities for joint ventures.

Further meetings were held with Amazon Web Services (led by Peter Marquez and Alex Martinez), the Albright Stonebridge Group (with Karen Poreh and Spencer Boyer), and the Office of U.S. Senator Richard J. Discussions centered on scaling Ukraine’s tech industry in the U.S., fostering co-investment, and building long-term partnerships in areas such as digital infrastructure and dual-use innovation.

The delegation also participated in the AI+ Expo for National Competitiveness, organized by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

President of StrategEast Anatoly Motkin emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration: “Ukrainian tech companies are not only helping their country remain resilient during wartime, they are also well positioned to be key and reliable partners in global innovation and reconstruction efforts.”

The initiative continues to serve as a bridge between Ukraine’s tech sector and the global economy, reinforcing the country’s digital transformation and strategic relevance in the international tech arena.
