Within the framework of the AMCHAM event in Bishkek, StrategEast engaged in high-level discussions with key international and government stakeholders. Lika Merabishvili. Regional Director for Caucasus at StrategEast, met with H.E. Lesslie Viguerie, U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, and H.E. Daniyar J. Amangeldiev, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. These meetings provided a valuable platform to exchange views on the country’s business and innovation landscape, as well as opportunities to further strengthen international cooperation.
In addition, Lika Merabishvili held a productive one-on-one meeting with Mr. Nursultan Kubanov, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic. The discussion focused on digital transformation priorities, innovation policy, and potential areas of collaboration to support the development of the technology and startup ecosystem, including the advancement of AI in Kyrgyzstan.
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between StrategEast and the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, represented by Mr. Ravshanbek Sabirov. The agreement marks an important milestone in deepening cooperation, with a shared commitment to fostering investment, innovation, and the growth of Kyrgyzstan’s digital economy.
