StrategEast held a workshop to guide non-tech businesses in developing practical AI strategies

On October 28, StrategEast hosted a hands-on workshop titled “From Vision to Action: Building Your Company’s AI Strategy,” aimed at helping non-tech companies understand how to integrate artificial intelligence into their operations while ensuring ethical standards and data sensitivity.

Led by Vitali Shulha, AI Engineer at EPAM Systems, the workshop walked participants through a practical framework for setting AI goals, identifying relevant use cases, and implementing resource-efficient solutions tailored to companies with limited technical capacity. Vitali emphasized the need to align AI strategy with broader business objectives and to focus on achievable use cases that deliver measurable impact. He noted that AI projects often progress faster than traditional software initiatives, encouraging participants to “learn by example” and start small before scaling.

The workshop was carried out as part of the AI Policy Dialogue Initiative, led by StrategEast in collaboration with RECONOMY (an inclusive and green economic development program of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida, implemented by HELVETAS in partnership with Help). The Initiative aims to strengthen multistakeholder collaboration and foster responsible AI adoption across Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
