StrategEast President Anatoly Motkin moderated two major panels at the InMerge Innovation Summit 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan, organized on September 29-30 by Pasha Holding. The summit gathered leading voices from global tech, data, and investment sectors.
On Day 1, Anatoly Motkin led the panel “Data-Driven Decisions: Scaling Intelligent Enterprises with Analytics and AI,” featuring top representatives from Microsoft, MEXT, C4IR Azerbaijan, and ChangeTheBlock. The discussion explored how data and AI are transforming operational efficiency, business growth, and decision-making across industries. Panelists examined the emergence of artificial intelligence as a modern-day reality, as well as the intersection of data, energy, and technology shaping contemporary business trends. Speakers emphasized the importance of bridging local experiences with global innovations and the need for proactive, future-ready strategies to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving world.
On Day 2, Mr. Motkin moderated “The Power of Startup–Corporation Collaboration,” a session featuring executives from Plug and Play Tech Center, APY Ventures, Freedom Holding Corp., and AREA101. The conversation focused on fostering innovation through strategic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and co-creation between startups and large corporations, highlighting best practices for building mutually beneficial ecosystems that accelerate growth and technology transfer.
StrategEast’s Regional Director in the Caucasus, Lika Merabishvili, served as Master of Ceremonies for the Telecommunication and AI/Data stages, leading discussions with top executives from global tech and telecom companies. Gunay Hajili, StrategEast Country Manager for Azerbaijan, also participated in the summit.
The event once again highlighted StrategEast’s mission to bridge Eurasia’s innovation landscape with global technology leaders.
The INMerge Innovation Summit for the 5th year in a row, is a major regional event organized by PASHA Holding. The event brings together key stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries in the region. With over 5,000 participants, 150 speakers, 100 startups, and more than 80 venture funds, the summit serves as a powerful platform for cross-border collaboration in the innovation ecosystem.
