StrategEast and Microsoft have collaborated to launch the Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub Program in the Caucasus region. This significant milestone offers vital support and resources to boost innovation and growth in the local tech ecosystem.

The program extends support to software entrepreneurs and startups by providing free licenses to selected Microsoft products. Benefits include exclusive access to AI technologies, OpenAI GPT-4, Azure credits, GitHub, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn Premium, and technical advisory from experienced engineers. The program also fosters a supportive community for networking and learning.

The launch event took place on April 20th in Tbilisi, Georgia, with over 100 participants from startups, IT companies, universities, and other stakeholders from Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan in attendance. Attendees received insights and mentorship from industry leaders and Microsoft experts.

Opening remarks were delivered by Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director in the Caucasus at StrategEast, followed by a keynote address by Adrian Gheorghe, Partner Development Advisor at Microsoft for Startups. The event was supported by D Block, the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises.
