StrategEast presents AI Report at the UN Women’s Tech Coordination Group meeting in Georgia

On October 23, Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast, presented the organization’s recent activities and key findings from its latest report, “The Rise of Artificial Intelligence in Central Eurasia.” The report provides a comprehensive analysis of how artificial intelligence is reshaping the region’s economies, labor markets, and governance systems.

Ms Merabishvili shared these insights during the Working Group 2 meeting of the UN Women Tech Coordination Group: Empowering Women and Girls in ICT, where representatives from the private sector, civil society, government, and international organizations gathered to advance gender inclusion in Georgia’s ICT sector.

The UN Women Tech Coordination Group focuses on enhancing the participation of women and girls in ICT through coordinated initiatives, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and promoting inclusive digital development. StrategEast’s contribution to the discussion emphasized the transformative potential of AI for creating new opportunities and building more equitable participation in the digital economy.
