The first IT Hub Georgia job fair facilitates opportunities for graduates

On April 3rd, the first IT Hub Job Fair took place at the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency, hosting 30 esteemed companies and welcoming a cohort of 100 accomplished alumni. This event marked a significant milestone in bolstering employment prospects within the Georgian IT sector and related industries.

The primary aim of the IT Hub Georgia Job Fair is to streamline the recruitment process for graduates of the IT Hub Georgia program.

Distinguished guests including Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast; Alkis Drakinos, Head of the Caucasus for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD); and Avtandil Kasradze, Chairman of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency, delivered opening remarks, opening the event.

Notably, the fair attracted a diverse array of attendees, including global tech corporations, banking and financial institutions, recruitment agencies, and representatives from various sectors.

An integral component of the fair was the Exclusive Professional Branding workshop, hosted by leading IT training providers EPAM. This workshop aimed to provide attendees with invaluable insights into developing and enhancing their professional identities within the competitive realm of the IT industry.

The IT Hub Program, led by StrategEast with financial backing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in partnership with the Georgian Information and Technology Agency (GITA), underscores a concerted effort to foster growth and opportunities within Georgia’s burgeoning IT landscape.
