StrategEast, represented by Lika Merabishvili, the Regional Director for the Caucasus, and Ilia State University, represented by Ketevan Darakhvelidze, the Head of Administration have officially signed the Memorandum of understanding (MoU). The signing reflects a mutual commitment to fostering collaboration and supporting the development of the IT sector in Georgia.
The memorandum outlines the general framework of the partnership. Under the agreement, StrategEast and Ilia State University will engage in joint initiatives aimed at promoting innovation and advancing digital transformation. This includes co-organizing training programs in IT, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and best practices related to emerging technologies, and supporting the popularization of technological and innovative fields in Georgia.
This partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening ties between academia and the global tech sector through StrategEast, with the shared goal of accelerating the growth of Georgia’s digital ecosystem.
