Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast, delivered an insightful presentation on the current landscape of the IT sector in Georgia and the activities of StrategEast to participants of the summer bootcamp at Ilia State University. The bootcamp is part of an ongoing partnership between Ilia State University and San Diego State University (SDSU).
During the session, Lika highlighted StrategEast’s ongoing initiatives to support digital transformation, capacity building, and tech ecosystem development across Central Eurasia, including Georgia. The participants were introduced to real-world projects and policy-level work implemented by StrategEast to promote sustainable growth through technology.
Following the presentation, Lika engaged in a Q&A session, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and explore potential avenues for involvement in the region’s tech and innovation landscape.
