Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast, appeared on Euronews Georgia’s Midday program to discuss the upcoming NVIDIA Inception Info Session for Startups, which will be held on July 30 and organized by StrategEast in cooperation with NVIDIA.
The event is designed to introduce Georgian and regional startups to the NVIDIA Inception program, a global initiative that supports startups developing AI-based technologies. The program offers participants access to cutting-edge technology, go-to-market support, and visibility opportunities through the NVIDIA network. The upcoming session will help startups better understand the application process, available resources, and strategic advantages of joining the initiative.
During the interview, Lika also analyzed the obstacles and growth potential for startups in Georgia and globally. She discussed challenges such as limited access to funding, talent retention, lack of international exposure, and regulatory hurdles that often hinder startup development in emerging markets.
Highlighting the role of StrategEast, Lika emphasized the organization’s mission to bridge global tech companies with local IT ecosystems, offering Georgian startups new opportunities for growth, knowledge exchange, and global positioning. She noted that by creating meaningful connections and facilitating programs like NVIDIA Inception, StrategEast continues to contribute to the sustainable development of the Georgian tech and startup landscape.
