StrategEast, in partnership with Oracle Academy, has welcomed the International Information Technology University (Kazakhstan) as a new member of the Oracle Academy program, further expanding opportunities for students and faculty to access world-class technology education.
With more than 6,000 students and 400 faculty members, the University offers programs in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Immersive Technologies, Computer Science, and Media Communications. The university is ranked among the top 800 universities in Asia and 50th in Central Asia. Its students have successfully participated in the ICPC international programming contest and national fintech and e-government hackathons.
Through its partnership with Oracle Academy, the University will integrate courses in Java, SQL, cloud technologies, and AI into its curriculum, while also providing free access to Oracle Cloud and a pathway to Oracle’s professional certifications.
Looking ahead, the International Information Technology University plans to launch an Oracle Cloud & AI Lab starting next academic year, where students will collaborate with industry mentors on real-world projects. The university also aims to host an annual “Oracle Innovation Hackathon” and introduce a comprehensive training program to support students in obtaining international certifications in OCI and Java.
This partnership reflects StrategEast’s mission to accelerate digital development across Eurasia by building strong ties between global technology leaders and local universities.
