On October 14, Anatoly Motkin, President of StrategEast, spoke at Dushanbe Invest 2025, one of Tajikistan’s key international investment forums.
Mr. Motkin joined the session “Digitalization and AI”, which brought together leading policymakers and industry experts to discuss how digital transformation and artificial intelligence can drive innovation, attract investment, and foster economic growth across Central Asia.
In his remarks, Anatoly Motkin highlighted the importance of digital skills development, regional collaboration, and global partnerships in accelerating the digital transformation of Central Asia. He emphasized that sustainable progress in the digital economy requires not only investment in technology but also in human capital and education.
The session featured Mr. Khurshed Mirzo, Director of the Agency of Innovation and Digital Technologies under the Republic of Tajikistan, as keynote speaker, and Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Other distinguished panelists included Elena V. Son-Larocco, Executive Director of the US-Tajikistan Business Council; Liu Tong, Vice President for the Middle East and Central Asia at Huawei; Leyla Keser Berber, Chairperson of TETHYS Gateway Investment; Rebecca Hunter, Director of Starlink Market Access at SpaceX/Starlink; Anton Dzhoraev, Director for the CIS Region at Nvidia; and representatives from EPAM Systems.
The Dushanbe Invest 2025 forum, is being held from October 14–16, aims to attract green investments, showcase Tajikistan’s trade and economic potential, and strengthen international cooperation. The event brings together representatives of foreign governments, global companies, regional financial institutions, and the broader business community.
