StrategEast convenes Advisory Board meeting to review 2025 progress and set strategic priorities

StrategEast held a meeting of its Advisory Board led by President Anatoly Motkin, bringing together Board members Debra Cagan, Michael Haltzel, David Tkeshelashvili, and Daniel Witt. The meeting also marked the participation of StrategEast’s senior management team, including Chief Operating Officer Nadzeya Adzintsova, Chief Analyst Lidia Shavlo, Executive Assistant Yuliya Yevchuk and Washington Office Director Jonathan Inman.

During the meeting, Anatoly Motkin presented StrategEast’s annual Activity Report, outlining key projects implemented over the past year and highlighting the organization’s growing impact across Eurasia. He also presented StrategEast’s strategic growth priorities, focusing on transforming the organization into a fully pan-regional actor by expanding into new geographies and scaling flagship initiatives.
The priorities discussed included increasing support for Ukraine through the expansion of global alliances aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s digital capacity, defense innovation, and international integration. Another key focus was the diversification and growth of StrategEast’s donor base, with the goal of creating a stable ecosystem in which governments, corporations, and foundations can co-invest in long-term development initiatives.

The discussion also emphasized the importance of keeping U.S. technologies ahead of China by ensuring that American technologies, standards, and talent pipelines shape the digital future of StrategEast’s partner countries. In addition, participants highlighted the need for deeper engagement in global and multinational platforms, positioning StrategEast as a regular and visible contributor to international digital, economic, and geopolitical dialogues.

The Advisory Board and management team concluded the meeting by outlining an action plan for 2026, setting the foundation for the next phase of StrategEast’s growth and reinforcing its role as a leading platform for digital transformation, policy dialogue, and international cooperation across the region.
