During her visit to Armenia, Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast, participated in DigiTec 2025, one of the region’s largest annual technology and innovation events organized by the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE). The event brought together leading technology companies, startups, government officials, and international organizations to discuss the future of digital transformation in Armenia and beyond.
This year’s DigiTec was attended by the President of Armenia and the Minister of High-Tech Industry, underscoring the country’s growing role as a regional hub for digital innovation and its strong commitment to advancing the tech ecosystem.
Throughout the event, Ms. Merabishvili engaged with representatives of Armenia’s dynamic IT community, exchanging insights on regional digital development, innovation policy, and startup growth. She also held meetings with local and international tech companies and startup founders. Her participation at DigiTec aligns with StrategEast’s broader mission to foster digital economy growth and build sustainable innovation partnerships across Eurasia.
During her business trip, Ms. Merabishvili also toured the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, one of the world’s leading educational innovation hubs empowering teenagers through creative digital education. She explored the center’s unique learning model that combines self-learning, workshops, and project-based education across disciplines such as programming, robotics, design, animation, and media.
The visit highlighted TUMO’s success in nurturing digital and creative skills among youth and its significant contribution to Armenia’s innovation ecosystem. StrategEast continues to seek partnerships with educational and innovative institutions to bridge the gap between technology and education across the Eurasian region.
