On October 22, Lika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast, participated in the third Tech Coordination Group Meeting organized by UN Women, dedicated to women’s empowerment and the role of technology in advancing gender equality.
The meeting brought together stakeholders to discuss opportunities to strengthen women’s participation in the digital economy, expand access to digital skills and technology-related education, and promote women’s professional development in the technology sector. Discussions focused on the importance of coordination and collaboration among organizations to advance women’s empowerment and ensure more inclusive participation in digital transformation.
StrategEast will continue to actively participate in the Tech Coordination Group’s activities, contributing its experience in digital transformation, technology education, and innovation ecosystem development across the Caucasus. Continued engagement in the group will provide opportunities to exchange expertise, strengthen partnerships, and explore joint initiatives that empower women and expand their access to opportunities in the digital economy.
