ika Merabishvili, Regional Director for the Caucasus at StrategEast, conducted a three-part online workshop series, “AI and Digital Transformation: What It Means for Your Sector,” for participants of the C5+O.N.E. (Opening Networks Through English) program, which brings together professionals from across Central Asia.
The workshops explored how artificial intelligence and digital transformation are reshaping economies, organizations, and the future of work. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants examined AI adoption at both regional and organizational levels, as well as the roles of government, business, and universities in developing AI-ready ecosystems.
The series also addressed emerging skills needs and opportunities for cross-sector collaboration, highlighting the importance of cooperation in preparing professionals and organizations for an increasingly digital economy.
Funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs and implemented by American Councils for International Education, the C5+O.N.E. program supports regional connections and professional development across Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Through this workshop series, StrategEast contributed its expertise in digital transformation and AI to support participants’ understanding of emerging technologies and their implications for professional development and regional economic cooperation.
