StrategEast expands digital skills development in Azerbaijan with university outreach

StrategEast continues to advance its digital skills development agenda in Azerbaijan through a new university engagement, hosting an information session at Baku Engineering University on April 15.

The session was led by Gunay Hajili, StrategEast’s Country Manager for Azerbaijan, and introduced students to professional training opportunities available through Oracle University. The presentation focused on the Oracle University MyLearn platform, a flexible, self-paced learning environment offering certification pathways in high-demand fields such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data management.

Participants received practical, step-by-step guidance on how to register on the platform, navigate learning tracks, and begin their certification journey. The session was designed not only to raise awareness of available tools, but also to provide students with clear entry points into globally recognized professional development programs.

This initiative is part of StrategEast’s broader effort to bridge the gap between academic education and labor market needs by equipping students with industry-relevant, career-oriented digital skills. By partnering with leading universities such as BEU, StrategEast is contributing to the development of a stronger, more competitive digital talent pipeline in Azerbaijan.

The session reflects StrategEast’s ongoing commitment to supporting digital transformation and workforce readiness across the region through practical, scalable education initiatives.
