Kyrgyzstan’s digital transformation project presented to the European IT companies

Chief of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Sapar Isakov met with director of EST Prototype Ltd Erik-Erki Murem and commercial director of Gemalto Jiri Sedlacek. During the meeting, the sides discussed the implementation of innovative projects within the framework of the Taza Koom digital transformation program, the president’s press service reported. Isakov stressed that in Kyrgyzstan now systematic work is underway to create conditions for the transition to a digital economy.

“This will allow us to significantly improve the population’s access to public services, reduce corruption, and optimize the process of interaction between government agencies. Innovative solutions must be implemented in all spheres of the country’s life,” said Isakov. He also said that Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting investments, modern IT technologies and advanced business management experience from Western countries. Representatives of European IT companies, in turn, expressed their readiness to support the ongoing work in the country to implement the Taza Koom program.
