On May 12, StrategEast organized two information sessions dedicated to Oracle Education initiatives at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), bringing together students and young learners interested in technology, digital skills development, and career opportunities in the IT sector.
The session gathered 460 students from BHOS, as well as 65 pupils from the Digital Knowledge Lyceum operating under the university, highlighting strong interest among young people in emerging technologies and industry-relevant digital education.
During the event, Gunay Hajili, Country Manager for Azerbaijan at StrategEast, delivered presentations introducing participants to Oracle technologies, digital learning opportunities, and professional certification pathways available through Oracle educational initiatives.
Participants learned more about Oracle University and the Oracle MyLearn platform, which provides access to training and certification resources in cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, data management, and other high-demand digital skills increasingly in demand in the global technology market.
The session also highlighted the importance of strengthening digital competencies and expanding access to internationally recognized technology education opportunities for students and young professionals in Azerbaijan.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants engaged in discussions about certification programs, learning pathways, and career development opportunities in the technology sector.
Through initiatives such as this session, StrategEast continues to support digital skills development, technology education, and workforce readiness across Eurasia by connecting young talent with global learning platforms and emerging technology opportunities.
