US-based Trammo to invest $20 million in building new terminal in Georgia’s seaport

Archil Talakvadze, chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia has met with the executive director of New York based corporation Trammo and the managing board members.

According to the Parliament’s press office, Trammo plans to invest 20 million USD in Georgia and build a new terminal at Batumi Seaport to direct cargo consignments from Asia to European markets. Archil Talakvadze has updated the corporation management on Georgia’s investment environment, ownership right protection standards and the ongoing reforms.

As noted by Trammo executive director Edward Weiner, the corporation has taken the decision of making investments in Georgia thanks to geostrategic advantages, attractive environment and stable atmosphere of the country.

According to the Forbes’ report, Trammo ranks 58thin the rating of US major companies.
